Preconcert Session at St John’s

We will be holding a dynamic pre-concert session during before our concert at St John’s, Smith Square.  It will explore how the music, musicians and conductor come together to create the sound of the orchestra.

Michael_LeadershipParticipants will be invited to sit next to the musicians of Orchestra Vitae and help uncover the background to Secret Destinations, one of the pieces that will be played in the evening’s concert. Secret Destinations composer Stephen McNeff will discuss the music in a conversation led by Fiona Gibbs.

Finally Michael Cobb will be demystifying the role of the conductor and offering participants the opportunity to conduct the orchestra!

This interactive event is suitable for all 12+ in particular we would really like to see Grandparents bringing Grandchildren and Grandchildren bringing Grandparents!
