Join Orchestra Vitae and the Smith Square Voices on October 16th for the premiere of Stephen Montague’s Requiem: The Trumpets Sounded Calling Them to the Other Side. Montague’s Requiem is an orchestral and choral celebration of the war heroes who gave their lives during the D-Day Landings. More importantly it is an undeniable message of peace and hope for the future.
Brahms and Shostakovich will capture the essence of joy and peace in preparation for the Requiem; Brahms’ Third Symphony focusing on the Frei aber froh, “Free but happy” motif.
