Behind the scenes of the orchestra!

unspecifiedFrom the beginning, when we chose the programme for our forthcoming concert on 18th February at Saint John’s Smith Square, we have been busy planning the event. Mondays are ‘Orchestra Vitae’ days and we meet as a team to update on all things orchestral!

Music hire is booked and paid for, musicians fixed, rehearsal programme confirmed, percussion booked, piano tuning booked, rehearsal venues researched and secured, marketing material designed and printed, social media marketing planned, Twitter and Facebook engaged with, website updated, concert advertising sent to our mailing lists and supporters, contracts signed with concert venue, pre concert talk planned, programme planned and sellers booked, dozens of cups of coffee drunk, meeting notes written and actioned, tickets sold, stage set up confirmed, excitement quotient allocated and we are now two weeks away.

In addition to planning our next concert we are also programming concerts up to 2017 and arranging private events for our Quartets and Chamber Orchestras for a variety of clients from private parties, weddings and corporate functions.

Oh, and we do sit and listen to music too!
